8 Amazing Scientific Reasons Behind Indian Traditions!

18:11:00

We’re so used to following the traditions. But have we ever stopped to wonder why they exist in the first place? Take a look at these Hindu traditions and the reasons behind them!

1.     Namaste: ( Joining both palms together to greet)

There is a scientific reason behind the ‘Namaskar’ in Hindu culture. Joining both hands ensures touching the tips of all the fingers together, which are linked to pressure points in the eyes, ears, and mind. Pressuring them together is said to activate these, helping us remember that person for a long time.

2.     Why Do Indian Women Wear Toe Ring:

Wearing a toe rings is not just the significance of married women but there is science behind it.
Normally toe rings are worn on the second toe. A particular nerve from the second toe connects the “Uterus” and passes to the heart. Wearing toe ring on this finger strengthens the uterus. It will keep it healthy by regulating the blood flow to it and menstrual cycle will be regularized. As silver is a good conductor, it also absorbs polar energies from the earth and passes it to the body.

3.     Throwing Coins Into A River:

The general reasoning given for this act is that it brings Good Luck. However, scientifically speaking, in the ancient times, most of the currency used as made of copper unlike the stainless steel coins of today. Copper is a vital metal very useful to human body also.
Throwing coins in the river was one of the way our forefathers ensured we intake sufficient copper as part of the water as rivers were the only source of drinking water. Making it a custom ensured that all of us follow the practice.

4.     Applying Tilak/Kumkum On The Forehead:

On the forehead between the eye brows, is a spot that is considered as a major nerve point human body since ancient times. The ‘Tilak’ is believed to prevent the loss of “energy”, the red ‘kumkum’ between the eyebrows is said to retain energy in the human body and controls the various levels of concentration.

5.     Why We Start With Spicy Food And End With Sweet:

Our ancestors have stressed on the fact that our meals should be started off with something spicy and sweet dishes should be taken towards the end. The significance of this eating practice is that while spicy things activate the digestive juices and acids and ensure that the digestion process goes on smoothly and efficiently, sweets or carbohydrates pull down the digestive process. Hence, sweets were always recommended to be taken as a last item.

6.     Why Do We Applying Mehandi On The Hand And Feet:

Besides lending colours to the hands, mehandi is a very powerful medicinal herb. Weddings are stressful, and often, the stress causes headaches and fevers. As the wedding day approaches, the excitement mixed with nervous anticipation can take its toll on the bride and groom.
Application of mehandi can prevent too much stress because it cools the body and keeps the nerves from becoming tense.

7.     Sitting On The Floor & Eating:

This tradition is not just about sitting on floor and eating, it is regarding sitting in the “Sukhasan” Position and then eating. Sukhasan is the position we normally use for yoga asana. When you sit on the floor, you usually sit across legged. This type of position would bring a sense of calm and help in digestion; it is believed to automatically trigger the signals to your brain to prepare the stomach for digestion.

8.     Why You Should Not To Sleep With Your Head Towards North:

When we sleep with the head toward north, our boy magnetic field become completely asymmetrical to the Earth’s magnetic field. The cause’s problems related to blood pressure and our heart needs to work harder in order to overcome this asymmetry of magnetic fields. Apart from this, our body have significant amount of iron in our blood. When we sleep in this position, iron from the whole body starts to congregate in brain. This can cause headache, cognitive decline and brain degeneration.

Click Here, To Know ! How Social Networking Has Changed The World?

10:14:00

Dear Readers,
Since I can remember, I have always been doing some sort of social networking. As a pre teen, I was using AOL instant messenger, then it proceeded to Orkut, and finally to Facebook in high school and now a new addition to Twitter. I couldn't imagine my life without social media. The thought of not logging onto a Facebook account every day, as sad as it is, baffles me. Our generation has officially grown up with social media technology and to not be on track with it is deemed "not normal". I do not know a single person without at least a Myspace or Facebook account. Facebook is a world wide phenomenon. It keeps people connected and linked that most likely would never be able to otherwise. There are pro's and con's to this of course, but as an example of a study abroad student, I guarantee I would not be able to know what is going on in majority of my friend's lives without Facebook. The costs of telephone calls and texts are insanely high, and Facebook is free and allows me to access all that I am missing back in the states.

Social Media allows people to interact in ways we could never without it. People don't have time to have an hour long telephone conversation everyday with multiple people. It is very easy to catch up on someone's life through a simple message on the computer, even email. Social Media enables a route of communication not just for personal life but for businesses, purchases, and anything you can basically imagine. Businesses have boomed due to advertisements or media sites because they get the word out quicker and faster. People hardly read the ads in the newspaper now, the world revolves around online communication and advertising on a website such as Twitter or Facebook makes people notice because that is where their primary focus is now.

Social Media has benefited many world events. For example, the situation in Egypt the dictator was able to be overthrown and kicked out due to Facebook groups and protests online. Latest news has been broken out over Twitter before being announced on headline shows like CNN or newspapers such as The New York Times. Social Media is a driven force that is only proceeding forward. There is no stopping it. For the most part, I find it very beneficial and makes people's lives easier. The only concern is that teenagers now and children growing up are going to be even more technology obsessed then my generation and will have social skill problems in the real world face to face. As long as it is monitored, and used in the correct way, Social Media will continue to change the way the world functions.

Why Microsoft Built A Phone With A Battery That Last For A Month?

08:57:00
If you turn back and look for the past five years, you would be really wondering how technology has gone to the peak. Last two years, there was a drastic changes in mobiles and their billion of sales to the mobiles users. However, if we would really invest for a mobile with price range from $50 - $250, there would be minimal chances of getting battery life time of 48 hours. People would be really fed up of putting charge for again and again and sometimes they are unable to save the battery life during emergency period.

According to the CNET reports, a big technology gaint (Microsoft) in the world has in the process of developing a mobile in the year of 2015, which last the battery life of one month.

Nokia 215 has comes up with three different color options and it cost of around 19 euros. This mobile goes sales in a few places such as Asia, Africa and Europe in the year of 2015.

This feature phone is developing with the intention of providing a month of battery life and is mainly targeted to the first time user, who looking forward to buy a cheap mobile phone in the market.

Instead of spending much amount to buy a new mobile in the market with the minimal battery life of 24 hours, I would recommend you to go to Nokia 215. Moreover, it will be very helpful to the user during travelling or they live the place which don’t have proper electricity supply.

The phone has limited number of features and it is compatible to put dual Sim cards. This phone has also got internet features, but not 3G connection and it include some stuffs life Bing, MSN weather, Opera Mini browser and some social networks applications.

Nokia 215 has come up with a different color such as green, black and white. This phone has inbuilt VGA camera and has a 32Mb of micro SD card.

why Rolex Replica watches are good?

00:58:00

This article explains why Rolex Replica watches are good investments. It also provides tips on where and how to buy vintage Rolex watches. This article has been optimized for the keyphrase, " rolex replica watch.''

A Rolex watch is truly an investment, especially when it is a vintage Rolex watch. Rolex has long been considered the most prestigious watch a person can own. The owner of a Rolex is seen as a person of power, wealth and sophistication. He is also seen as a smart investor.

The reason a Rolex replica watch is more valuable as an investment than even a new Rolex watch is that a new Rolex will depreciate in value just as soon as it is purchased. This is because of the retail mark-up and because of the fact that a Rolex is a collector's item that will last the owner a lifetime. However, over time, the value of a Rolex will begin to increase again. Finding a Rolex replica at a good price is like purchasing a home with instant equity. It will continue to increase in value and your asset portfolio will increase with it .

Where can you find a Rolex replica watch for a good price, though? The best way is to buy one from someone who doesn't know what he has this sounds malicious but it really isn't. You've seen the stories where someone buys a painting at a garage sale for $10 and it turns out to be a long lost Picasso worth over a million dollars.

The Rolex Involved In The Great Escape By Lisa-Anne Sanderson "You must not even think of settlement during the war," Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of Rolex, wrote to Corporal Nutting. when Nutting ordered his replica watch. This watch recently sold for a little more than $65,000.00 AUD at auction in Australia. The extremely high price was paid because this Rolex - a very rare stainless steel gentleman's watch with a black dial and 17 jewels - has a fascinating history. This was described in the original correspondence with Vilsdorf, scrapbook and other memorabilia included in the sale.
Rolex watches were already popular amongst British airmen, perhaps because watches were part of an airman's kit and Vilsdorf had founded the company in England.

The POWs in the British airforce were already anxious to obtain new watches because their watches were usually confiscated by the Germans upon capture. The Germans knew that they were given escape & evasion kits by the RAF.

Corporal Nutting certainly wasn't the only POW to receive a Rolex replica watch during the Second World War or the only one to receive the watch on condition of future payment. After the invasion of Vichy France, Switzerland was encircled by the enemy, which cut the company off from their primary market —the British and the Americans. Sales of Rolex replica watches declined heavily and the future probably looked bleak. However, the Allies were winning in North Africa and the Germans had retreated from Russia so Vilsdorf thought that the Allies had a good chance of Miming.
